Applications Closed

Whew - last minute rush on applications, but they're now officially closed. We've got a grand total of 169 in the hunt.... even allowing for some drop outs along the way that's still a fantastic hunt! Thank you EVERYONE who applied - hunt order will be out a.s.a.p

Last call for entries

It's the last chance today to get your applications in for The Falling Leaves hunt which takes place on 1st November, 2009 and lasts until 1st December, 2009. We've had an amazing response so far and have loads of truly amazing shops already signed up to the hunt - applications close at midnight SL time tonight, and in fairness to everyone I can't accept applications after that time.

Once accepted as a vendor on the hunt, I'll send you a welcome pack and an invite to the vendors group - I know we're all a little short on group space, so feel free to ask me to add your ALT or shop staff instead if you like, but it's the most effective way of communication for hunts and so it is vital that someone who can represent your shop is in the group.

I should have a tentative hunt order for you by the end of the week, obviously some shops will drop out so it isn't set in stone at this stage. Incidentally, if anyone would like to volunteer to help organise things - feel free to IM me, Rosie Lavochkin, in world ;)

Falling Leaves Grid Wide Treasure Hunt Applications

Applications are open for this hunt now and until October 1st 2009. If you would like to apply for your shop to be a part of the Falling Leaves gridwide hunt please read this form, complete the application below and return it to Rosie Lavochkin by no later than Thursday October 1st . The hunt begins Saturday November 1st and will run until Tuesday December 1st.

We ask that ALL applications are submitted no later than Thursday October 1st SLT. If you want to be one of the first shops in the hunt, get those applications in as soon as you can! We will be accepting a maximum of 200 stores in the hunt.

Please keep your hunt items within 25 metres from the landing point... do feel free to move your hunt item as often as you like, especially if it's being found too quickly or someone publishes the locations.

If you rent, rather than own, your own shop that is fine - but it's up to you to clear your participation with your landlord.

Please only offer your own work as prizes, not reseller items. Using full perms sculpt maps, textures etc is fine - so long as you make it your own.

Please make your item either unisex or one for the men and one for the women - men are notoriously badly served in grid hunts and many couples like to go hunting together!

There will be a walk through a few days before the hunt - we'll make every attempt to contact you if your hunt items aren't in order - but sadly we WILL have to exclude anyone who isn't in order 48 hours before the hunt begins for the sake of everyone's sanity :)
